Tomorrow our dear sisters Brenda and Elaine will join their team and start their journey to Peru where they will be serving the local communities and sharing the love of our Heavenly Father. I want to remind you all how important it is that we stand by them in prayer and will share here the prayer points they have shared with us in church, giving our LCF friends and family near and far the opportunity to pray into the specific points of this missiontrip. ¤ Unity within the team. ¤ Safety for the team and families left behind: physical, mental and spiritual protection. ¤Provision of finances for individual needs. ¤Provision of finances for the community transformation sewing project - and the best way to put this into action. ¤That they would make the right connections and be a blessing to their hosts and to the people of Peru. ¤That they would be sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and for Godly wisdom in making decisions concerning the trip. ¤Favour with customs as they bring medical supplies and other resources into the country. I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. We stand with you and your team and we are eagerly looking forward to hearing about the wonderful life-changing time that you will experience within those 2 weeks. May His name made known and captives be set free and through the deeds done that He leads you into, His love for them to touch them deeply and as you go to love and to serve, it is a guarantee you will be deeply blessed yourself and may your relationships with Him reach another deeper and more intimate level thorugh this time.
