Tonight as I crawled in the bathtub and sank down into the water, I looked down. Ordinarily Id avoid any and all unnecessary body gazing while completely naked. It used to crush my soul a little every time I looked down and all I saw was roll after roll. So I avoided it. Much like I did the scale and any other reminders of what Id let happen to myself over the years. But not tonight. Tonight I looked down, and I saw something Im proud of. A body thats willing. A body thats capable. A body that is far from perfect, but one Ive worked hard for. And Im okay with that. Whats something about your body that youre proud of?
