Tonight we are dancing in honour and celebration of our ancestors and our beloved ones who have departed from this world. Many cultures have started or are about to begin their celebrations.... Halloween, All Saints Eve, Samhain, Day of the Dead...different names, yet the same intentions. Dont let the mind trick you, treat yourself to a dance this evening. A powerful time to lead your dance within, honour your past and those you remember and hold close in your hearts. Honour your present and those still with you. And honour your future and the ones who are still to come after you. Tonight there will be room for you on the altar space to light a candle or place a photo of a dearly departed. You are invited to bring your offering if you so wish. Everyone is welcome, whether you celebrate this occasion or whether you just want to step on the dance floor and be guided by Kat in and through your dance. Know that YOU matter and your dance is part of the collective dance.
