Track Tuesday! This morning was in the gym for back and abs and tonight it was speed work at the high school track. It is great to get together with other runners and go through this pain of speed-work together! I sure need this. Inspired by this group of great runners to better myself as a runner and to keep giving it all Ive got. Todays workout was this... *Warm up 800m *400m at 1:30 less than 5K pace -rest/walk 1 minute *800m at 1:00 less than 5K pace -rest/walk 2 minutes *1 mile at :45 less than 5K pace -rest/walk 2 minutes *800m at 1:00 less than 5K pace -rest/walk 1 minute *400m at 1:30 less than 5K pace Done! WHEW!! That was a tough tough tough one! I didnt meet all the goals, but I have a really good starting point to build off of.
