Traditional design, perfect craftsmanship, perfectly balanced - TopicsExpress

Traditional design, perfect craftsmanship, perfectly balanced weight and, of course, celluloid as base material characterizes the King. The elegant brown-golden colour harmonizes perfectly with the superb haptic of the celluloid. Each Kaweco KING is unique. The crown is cast in solid silver and plated with 18 carat gold, also the clip and the lever are plated with 18 ct gold. The filling system is working by means of a historical side lever. By pulling the lever, a silicone bladder compresses inside the barrel. Simultaneous dipping of the nib into an ink bottle and releasing of the lever creates a vacuum inside the bladder and soaks the ink into it. This historic filling system was very famous around 1925. We devoted great attention to the production of the nibs and the nib sizes. Two extraordinary, bi-colour rhodium plated 18-carat golden nibs are highlights in nib size 6. The golden nibs have been manufactured by Peter Bock of Heidelberg and are available in two exquisite and extraordinary sizes. The K-nib with ball pointed tip is 1.2 mm broad and rotund. It grants an extremely soft and fluid handwriting without demanding much of the user‘s attention about the angle of the nib on the paper. The S-stub nib has a 1.3 mm broad flat ground tip. The Stub nib allows its user to create various stroke variations depending on the writing angle. The Stub nib is perfect for owners of a characteristic handwriting and impressive signatures. Already in 1920 pens of highest value were topped by Kaweco with a crown. Limited to 300 pieces and single numbered, the Kaweco KING is most appealing through its solid and impressive senior size. Traditional design, perfect craftsmanship, perfectly balanced weight and, of course, celluloid as base material characterizes the KING. The solid 18 carat golden nib is a real highlight in nib size 6 in bi-colour rhodium plating. The golden nibs are available in two exquisite and extraordinary sizes. The KING is embedded in a luxury black wooden box, a polishing tissue and the Kaweco Certificate is enclosed.
