Transformation Tuesday Today Im goin to post for those who may have reached a fitness goal of theirs and now are stuck and dont know where to go from here. Were you that person who lost 100 lbs and now want to look a little more toned and fit? Maybe you wanted to gain weight, accomplished it but have some added chub in the process you wanna get rid of? Im going to show you guys the beauty of bulking and cutting. This was my progression over a 5-6 month period. Started at a soft 230 (soft for me, dont take offense these are just the standards I set for my own body) bulked all the way up to 245 in about 3 months, then finally after the cut I walked around at a leaner more athletic me at 235lbs. The reason we bulk and cut is simply to develope fuller stronger larger muscles. When you bulk you typically increase your calorie intake as well as protein. Most people use this period to also make new gainz in the strength department. Bulking allows you to put on more size which in return means you can build more muscle and the calorie and protein surplus allows you to do this faster and more efficiently. I typically bulk for 3 months then I cut for 3. Everyone has there own different programs tho. Do what suits you best. Now the cutting process, the portion everybody loves to look at but hates doing lol. You significantly drop your calorie intake, bump up the cardio a ton and still somehow have I et in a bunch of Protien! Its tough but well worth the results. The goal of your cut is also not to demolish all your gainz you made on the bulk. If I gain 30lbs on my bulk Im trying to keep at least 10lbs of it. So there you go, hopefully a simplified version of how to bulk and cut and some goals of the process. I know I probably missed some details too so those familiar with it feel free to add in. Hope some of you can find this useful and inspiring! Have a good Tuesday everyone :)
