Translation: English /Spanish Jinhye Jo will be coming to Puerto Rico in August for the 20 Anniversary of the Department of Missions of the Church of God, Inc. they are dedicating the anniversary to the Persecuted Church worldwide with emphasis on North Korea. [Jinhye Jo vendra a Puerto Rico en Agosto para el 20 Aniversario del Departamento de Misiones de la Iglesia Dios, Inc. Ellos están dedicando el 20 aniversario a la Iglesia Perseguida en todo el mundo con énfasis en Corea del Norte.] Then going to Costa Rica for the Voice of the Martyrs Conference in September we hope. Pueden leer parte de su testimonio más abajo.] Jinhye Jo was born in 1987, Hamkyung Northern Province of North Korea. (함경북도) She lived in North Korea from 1987 to 1998. She struggled so many difficulties with her family. [Jinhy Jo nacio en 1987, Hamkyung Province Corea Del Norte. 함경북도. Ella vivio en Korea Del Norte desde 1998 a 1998. Ella paso por grandes dificultades junto a su familia.] She lost her father, grandmother, and younger brothers because of hunger. [Ella perdió a su papa, abuela, y a sus hermanos menores por causa de la hambruna.] In 1998, she escaped North Korea to China with her mother and younger sister Grace Jo. [En 1998 ella escapo de Corea del Norte con su mama y hermana menor Grace Jo.] They hided, traveled, and suffered in China about 10 years. During these period, she and her family had been repatriated four times to North Korea, because they were escapees and illegal to live in China. In China, she believed God and became a Christian. Finally in 2008, she and her family were able to come to the United States of America by Refugee status. They were settled in the Seattle Washington first 8 months, after that she and her family moved to Fairbanks of Alaska, Maryland, and lastly settled in Northern Virginia. [Ellos se escondieron, viajaron, y sufrieron en China como 10 anos. Durante ese periodo, ella y su familia habían sido repatriadas cuatro veces a Corea Del Norte, porque eran escapados e ilegales para vivir in la China. Currently in Northern Virginia, she goes to school and working in a home care company.
