Transplant Day #2: I am doing well. My urine is looking clear and Im draining often(the catheter). Lots of pain meds on board to help the pain and lots of anti-rejection, anti-biotics, Benadryl and regular medicine. If all continues on this path my surgeon says were looking at a Saturday afternoon discharge. (: Im kind of starving but still not allowed to eat but I will survive. Goals are to get up more and walk despite the incredible pain in my incision spot. My donor is amazing. She got up and walked to my room for a visit - it was great to see her. She looks a little stiff and in pain but she still smiles and is beautiful! I love you so much, Bonita! Visitors so far: Mom, Grandma Bonnie, Adam and the girls, Aunt Susanne and Grandpa Jim who brought me beautiful flowers. I hope I see many more during my stay!
