True Popularity The group of high school students and their sponsors spent a lot of time together over a three day stretch. As usual the girls outnumbered the boys at a ratio of 3 to 1. Several parents rode shot gun insuring that no drama or anything else might interrupt the church youth conference. One Mom with two daughters on the trip made curious observations on her return to their hometown. Speaking to the grandmother of a tall, slender, cross country runner who had been on the trip she commented that not only was he a polite young man, but was humorous, and got along with everyone.
