Trust in Him: (Weekly devotional & prayer/ Please read, like & share) “Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?” (Is. 2:22) God asked me . . .” Do you trust in the airplane pilot that went to school for several years to study on how to fly and land a plane. And in case of emergency has the know-how to try his or her best to get you home safely? Or do you have faith in Me to make sure that you get back to your love ones?” A lot of times we put so much trust in man’s education, that we have forgotten who the source of all knowledge is. Humanity thrives on being the best and actually strives for perfection. But the “best” and “perfection” does not come from our feeble hands and mind, but from God our Father. In Him is “perfection” and He presents the “best” option of trust and faith. The Bible states that man has a problem in praising the works of his hands and placing trust in it (Jer. 7:8; 10:3-5). Are we placing trust in our jobs, material things, love ones, and so forth. We must be conscious of where our trust lies. For God the Father is the cause and the effect of everything. God I have faith in You that You will get me to where I need to be. . . . Prayer for the day: “Father God, I thank you for waking me up today. For I know that it is You and You alone are the reason that I breathe. Your knowledge is infinite and perfect in all ways. Lord you are the author of knowledge, peace, and love. I pray that today I will rest in You in all that I do and not get blinded by my deeds but reminded Your grace that allows me to do what is needed to speak Your name. In Jesus’ name; amen!”
