Tuesday Afternoon, 5 Nov 13 Latest Emily Update: All the news from the doctor was postive today. Emilys anemia is improved; hematacrit went from 21 to 26 with a goal of 40 which is normal. Her oxygenation is better and her pneumonia appears to be gone. Her albumin is .1 below normal, which is great. Her kidney values are normal. She still has 3rd degree AV block in her heart with a samll amouont of fluid around the heart. The conern at this time is the tumor in her belly. There is no way Emily could undergo anestthesia due to her weakend condition and heart problem. They will do a punch biopsy. Hopefully, this will tell us if it is benign or malignant. Emly is not sleeping nearly much as she had been. Now that is is awake much more, she has started scratching. She is receiving Revolution twice a month and medicated baths twice a week to see if this will improve her skin condition. Emily has been being fostered by her wonderful Vet and we are playing that she can continue to foster her, as she seems to be thriving in that envvironment.
