Tuesday September 23, 1703 Your Royalty, How does it feel to be able to have the power to be able to kill someone without trial, or take away someone’s freedom of speech and the press, and taxing people regardless of their financial situation? The first issue I want to address it the overbearing power of the state, and the state enforces its strict statist policies. Just last week two people were convicted of tax evasion and sentenced to death by the German state with out trial. I believe every citizen no matter the crime is entitled to a fair trial. Secondly the press restriction has become so much so that no one can report anything that undermines the German state. By doing this, you have brain washed our town’s understanding of the news. Lastly, the taxation has become so overbearing we have had three stores close in our town in the past week. We understand that Germany’s entangling in International affairs has nothing to do with the people of Savannah, that is exactly why we request to stop the taxation with out representation. We are not the ones who are fighting these wars, so we request we don’t pay for them. I hope you take these request into consideration, and let the German state be less influential here in Savannah.
