Tuesday we spend the entire day processing turkeys for our customers Thanksgiving Day feasts. Wednesday we welcomed a new batch of Buckeye/Americauna chicks into the world, the first birds to be incubated and hatched right here on the farm. Birth and death, renewal and harvest; the circle of life continues unabated on our farmstead, and as we stop to consider that... we are thankful. Today, we are thankful to be producing healthy, sustainably-raised, pastured meat for our community. Today, we are thankful for appreciating customers, who support us both financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Today, we are thankful to be given this role as caretakers, stewards, producers, advocates, educators, farmers. Today, we are thankful.
