From his 160 hits, Giorgios has chosen 20 + 2 songs to take us on a unique trip through his twenty years in the music industry. Songs we all fell in love with, songs that are inextricably linked to a great love, songs that made us cry and dance, all packaged together in an commemorative CD that takes us on a lyrical and musical journey from the past to the present. From Ti-Ti to Opa, from Me dio marmarina filia to Ama de se do, Giorgios has captured in a CD album a musical party spanning two decades, with notes and lyrics creating a Déjà vu across time. For almost two years, Giorgios, together with Anthonis Skokos and Alex Papaconstantinou, barricaded themselves in The Lounge Recordings studio and joined their knowledge and craziness to create Déjà vu. The songs travelled outside Greece, to the Matheson Bayley at Berry Street Studio in London and The Viking Lounge Mastering in Sydney for the final mastering. *Déjà vu: A French expression, meaning already seen. Thus, the expression defines a situation in which, for a few seconds or fractions of seconds, we feel that we have already experienced what is happening in the present, in the past.
