Two more incidents to mention this morning. Late yesterday afternoon a call came in for a woman who had been bucked off a horse near Ya Ha Tinda ranch. Once again there were a variety of agencies involved. Sundre RCMP, Sundre Fire, EMS, Alpine Helicopters, STARS, Conservation Officers and KCPS all coordinated for the quick transport of the patient. During the flight home another SPOT call came in for a mountain biker who had crashed near Elk Pass and suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Alpine Helicopters and KCPS flew the biker to EMS for assessment. Once again the benefit of a SPOT type device was shown.
