UFOs in South America is now on Youtube What is truly disturbing about this excellent documentary is the brief discussion of the likely role of US intelligence services in suppressing the Ecuadorian governments attempts at delivering on a promise of opening up information about UFOs to the public. I am no expert in Ecuadorian politics, but as a student of history I have learned of the repeated CIA violations of Latin American sovereignty that has lead to disaster. The CiA overthrew the social reformist governments of Guatemala in 1954 and gave the OK to the Chilean military take over of Chile in 1973. Combined with the war against the Nicaraguan people and supporting death squads in El Salvador the result was the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. According to this video the President of Ecuador discovered that his entire intelligence service had been compromised by CIA bribes and only after he dismissed many top officers could UFO truth disclosures take place as he had ordered. I am sure there are reasons other than UFOs for a President to want his secret service not to be the tool of the US, still this is an area that should be further investigated.
