UPDATE - our beautiful gentle Laika was adopted a bit ago. FOHCAS was honored to help pay for this elder gals dental surgery and skin issues. Heres her happy ending. From her foster Dad This is a perfect match, her sister dog (Maggie) is not depressed anymore due to losing her former mate in a traumatic way (overheating at the pet sitters house, terrible death!) and they both kiss each other a lot! She is good with kids, loves to cuddle, well you know how she was. From her Mom Laika has found her favorite spot. She did very well her first night. She sleeps on a blanket at the foot of the bed. She tried to climb up in bed a couple of times but we told her no and she said OK. She gobbled her food down at dinner and this morning, with her meds, with no problems. She loves to be touching one of us when she is laying on the patio couch. She keeps trying to climb into Jons lap in the chair. Haha she thinks she is a lap dog. She and Maggie are getting along very well. She is acting like she has always lived here. We already love her, thank you for bringing her into our family
