** UPDATE ** ** FIND MEGANS WHEELCHAIR ** Recently I put out a request for a RAOK for a wheelchair that had fallen off of a van that was used by a beautiful special needs girl with CP, Megan. I had never met Megan but wanted to reach out and try & help her. Fred Nunez (RAOKer) contacted me & offered the family a chair from his great organization, Veterans Alliance of Southern California. Sadly, the chair was too large for Megan, but we pushed on. Another family in Las Vegas saw the TV coverage & offered a wheelchair that belonged to their son who had also suffered from CP & had passed away. The Chino Police Department assisted in obtaining the chair for the family & it is being customized at Dale Brights Auto Service in Chino. The story will be covered on Univision in the near future. It is so heartwarming to see how much we can accomplish if we just try....
