UPDATE ON THE DOG I RESCUED YESTERDAY... For those of you that didnt see my pics yesterday. I rescued a poor helpless pit bull on Marley Neck around 9:30am. I was shocked by the response I got. And thank you to those who have asked about him and who has offered help with food, crates, and so on. Im so thankful!! We took him to the vet (probably the first visit ever) and he did awesome. Ok so heres the update... The vet diagnosed him with: -Alopecia Areata: a condition in which hair is lost from some or all areas of the body, usually from the scalp. -Severe Pustular Dermatitis: an inflammation of the skin that presents with pustular lesions. -Extremely severe eye infections, but she couldnt look under or above the eyelid because it is so painful. -On a body scale from 2-5, hes at a 3. I thought when I took the dog home, he would be very aggressive towards us and especially towards our other pit. I was totally wrong!! He is one of the most loving dogs Ive ever known. Oh and if hes not being lazy, hes eating! We havent picked out a name yet. I want something with meaning because of all this poor guys been through. I have a few ideas, does anyone else???
