URGENT - House Bill 1453, to legalize and expand captive hunting of deer and elk, has been scheduled for a hearing tomorrow, January 26th, at 10:30 a.m. in room 156-A of the Statehouse. Assigned to the House Committee on Natural Resources, this bill seeks to legalize and expand the killing of deer inside of fenced enclosures. Please come to the Statehouse Monday and testify in opposition to this bill. If you cannot make it to the hearing, and your Representative sits on this committee (Committee information below), please make a polite and brief phone call urging him/her to vote NO on House Bill 1453.
