URGENT GOP PRIMARY VOTER ALERT Protect Colorado Values, a - TopicsExpress

URGENT GOP PRIMARY VOTER ALERT Protect Colorado Values, a liberal special interest group funded in part by the Democratic Governors Association, has just spent $500,000 on two ads and direct mailers in an attempt to influence the Colorado gubernatorial primary. This liberal special interest group, which appears to be a part of the Colorado Democracy Alliance Network and likely also receives its funding from liberal heiress Pat Stryker, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and San Francisco billionaire Tom Steyer, is running a television ads attacking former Congressman Bob Beauprez and hailing former Congressman Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., for opposing Obamacare. But the ads do not mention that every single Republican gubernatorial candidate also opposes Obamacare. While the Colorado GOP is not going to endorse or oppose a candidate in a contested primary, the fact that Democrats and East Coast liberals have decided to influence our primary with this kind of dirty trick is outrageous. It is imperative that all registered Republicans look at these facts and make their own decision regarding who is the best candidate to beat Hickenlooper this November before they mail-in their primary ballots. We cannot let the Democrats and outside liberal special interest groups choose OUR Republican nominee for Governor in the primary election. Voting has started in our critical primary races across the state and it’s up to you to choose your candidate and choose your future. As Americans, we know that voting is our most sacred responsibility in our democracy, and every single vote counts. To make sure you’re voice is heard, you first need to register to vote and affiliate with a party if you haven’t already. You can do that two ways: Registering Online: If you plan to register online, you need to to do so by June 16th and request a Republican ballot at govotecolorado. If you miss the June 16th deadline, you will need to register in person between June 16thand June 24th. Registering in Person: If you plan to register to register in person, you can do that anytime before polls close on June 24th at your local voter service center or county clerk and recorder. For more information on where to find these locations, click here. If you are already registered as a Republican, you will receive your primary election ballot by mail. If you dont receive your ballot in the coming days, contact your local county clerks office no later than June 16th to request your Republican ballot. One thing is for sure – Colorado can’t afford another six years of Mark Udall in Washington, DC or another four years of Governor Hickenlooper in the Governor’s Office. The only way we can prevent that from happening is with your vote and hard work and participation in the Republican primary. We know from our past experiences here in Colorado that Republicans are best positioned to win when WE choose our candidates, not liberal special interest groups. The good news is that all of your hard work has put us in a great position to elect Republicans up and down the ballot across the state in November. Now, we need to work even harder to finish strong.
