Under a First Quarter Moon and clear Atlanta evening sky, Max and I are trekking the Night/Run Walk. We left the flip-flops at home tonight. LOL. Used real shoes! I learned and confirmed a few lessons on my weight loss journey this week-end. Lesson 1. When stress piles up, I eat. Gotta change that because I live 24/7 in a stress cooker, like many of my Friends. Lesson 2. While eating fruit is good for you, it is not best for me to eat 4 bananas, 3 apples, 2 Jethro bowls of cherries, and eat 7 Fiber Bars all in one afternoon and evening. LOL. I told you it was a stressful day! But, it is a new day! Lesson 3. This is a journey and not a marathon. Learn, acknowledge, find perspective, grab an anchor, and begin a new day (and never, ever forget Philippians 4:13). Lesson 4. Even though I am frequently awakened throughout the night, I need to not grab a snack (even a healthy snack) during the night. Such will take will power! Max and I broke 18K steps, today! Another hour for a few more!
