Unless the new Constitution of Zimbabwe is amended, the complicated and currently unclear and uncertain matter of succession may become a bit clear when President Mugabe forms and announces the next Cabinet where if the President appoints one Vice President, then that Vice President will become the acting President in the event of a vacancy arising in the President Office until the party of the exited President appoints a substantive national President within 90 days. However if the President appoints 2 Vice Presidents, then one of the 2 Vice Presidents who will be the one to last act as President will be Constitutionally allowed to temporarily act as President in the event of a national Presidential vacancy arising until when the party of the former President appoints a substantive President within 90 days.
