Unnatural hair colors just make the person look dirty. It looks - TopicsExpress

Unnatural hair colors just make the person look dirty. It looks like dirty hair. And, it has to be unhealthy, why would someone damage their hair just to look dirty? There it is. The stupidest thing Ill read today. What kind of filth can I roll around in to get magenta or royal blue hair? Im sure its a lot cheaper than the dyes I use. Some fun facts about most unnatural dyes: usually theyre veggie based. Which means theyre actually less harmful than the harsh chemical dyes many use to color their hair. Some are even conditioning. I still wash my hair. Amazing, right? I even avoid many shampoos and other products that contain sulfates and other things that strip and damage hair, because I like to make these nasty colors last longer than a week. I dont even use hot water (which opens up the hair follicle and dehydrates it.) Almost every shade of extreme color dye are direct, semi-permanent dyes. Semi-permanent hair colorants are made of colorant molecules that are able to penetrate the hair. These colorants settle on and within the scales of the cuticle, becoming established around the cortex without modifying (ahem, damaging) the hair’s natural melanin. Since these molecules are also not bound to the hair protein, the color gradually fades with washing. A lot less harmful than permanent oxidation hair colorants. Go ahead and google how those work, Ill wait. In my personal experience, people who do long-term extreme colors actually take better care of their hair than most people. We have to, in order to maintain our colors. Also, calling my blue and purple hair unnatural when youre the owner of chunky highlighted blonde, red, and black hair is hypocritical. Just because one is considered more socially acceptable, doesnt make it natural. Suck my flamboyant lady-balls, Cuntzilla.
