Unpacking the Treaty of Daniel 9 Timeline to the #Rapture 26 After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One shall be cut off, and shall have nothing: (The Anointed One is Messiah in Hebrew or #Christós in Greek, this is the crucifixion of Jesus in Jerusalem) and the people of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; (in 70 AD Caesar Vespasian dispatched Titus the future Caesar to destroy Jerusalem and Herods Temple in the Jewish-Roman War, the people above are the Roman legions) and the end of it shall be with a flood, and even to the end shall be war; desolations are determined. (Over 1.1 million inhabitants of Jerusalem were exterminated by the Romans and nearly 1 million were captured into the slave trade. Jesus prophesied about it in Matthew 24:2.) 27 He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: (He is the prince of the Romans, possibly the Pope in todays fulfillment, who will sign a peace treaty that will last for 7 years) and in the midst of the week (after 3 and a half years) he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. (The prince will stop worship ceremonies at this point. If Pope Francis, the Malachi-prophesied Petrus Romanus - Peter of Rome, will fulfill this peacemaker figure, then he would organize a mass in Jerusalem in the years to come but will cease it after 3 and a half years.) Between vv. 26 - 27 there was a time gap because as the Temple was destroyed in 70 AD, the sacrifice referenced would not be fulfilled in the first century but in a future timeline. In Revelation 11:15, the last of the seven trumpets will be sounded after the 3 and a half years. The Rapture Mid-Tribulation eschatology view takes this point in the world for the elect of God to exit the Tribulation.
