Update: So incredibly proud of my husband!!! It is just a little over 24 hours from his open heart surgery and he is getting back to being himself!!! The breathing tube and chest tubes are out!! I just fed him some applesauce and water. Tomorrow we get to move him to the step down unit and I get to stay in his room for the remainder of our stay! We have a long recovery ahead, but we are so hopeful for an amazing long healthy life!! The most incredible part of this journey is watching Jonathans faith!! Found a saying on on a church sign that he has continued to repeat. I will not die but live to proclaim the glory of the Lord. He is also laying in the ICU praying for other patients. I married an incredible man. So proud of him. Can continue praying for no pain, strength, and a quick recovery. We so appreciate everyones thoughts and prayers!!! Thank you!!!
