Update on Pans Condition: We had a conference with my dads doctors yesterday afternoon. The antibiotic that was administered to him to fight of pneumonia is working. His right lung has cleared. They are trying to wean him off the ventilator. Hopefully, in two days, he would be extubated. My dad is also recommended to undergo cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation to help the muscles of his heart and lungs. This would also aid in his extubation. He has been fed through IV but his nutritionist started to wean him off also by administering NGT. This would also allow my dads tummy muscle to wake up, and start digesting. As for his kidney, he has experience acute trauma because of the post-operation and medicines. To help the kidneys rest and recover, dialysis has been administered. His doctors are very hopeful that he could regain full functionality of his kidneys. His sugar and thyroid are under control. Thank you so much for your love and support. However, we still ask for prayers that he would be extubated and that his kidneys will recover. Again, with my family, thank you.
