Update on Randy, October 20, 2014...chemo is finished as of yesterday afternoon...hopefully forever!! We are settling in our room and he slept really good last night, has had his typical morning instant breakfast, and is off to radiation number one now. Heres my prayer for this part of our journey...that The Lord will be the Second Man standing. Next to Randy, shielding his body from the side effects of intense, full body radiation. I know I can ask for this...Scripture tells me in Isaiah, Do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name; you are Mine. I will be with you, when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they WILL NOT overwhelm you. You WILL NOT be scorched when you walk through the fire and the flame WILL NOT burn you... The Holy One of Israel. My Savior. That is enough for us today. And tomorrow and the days after that. He.
