Update on my dad... Ok yesterday while we were with my dad, he opened his eyes and responded to questions from my mum. The Drs thought it was involuntary spasms but it wasnt, he was awakening. After a while he was able to grip our hands and even wave to Tony. We waited till very late last night and the Drs even took out the oxygen/drainage tubes in his throat. He spoke faintly. It is still early days and dad is still poorly and suffering from a fever that they cant regulate, but we just had to share our news with you all. We just want to say thanks to everyone that did the candle thing the other night and also thanks to everyone that has sent such lovely messages. Today is a new day and our hopes for dads recovery are much higher. We will post more news as soon as we can...
