Update on the mouse science project: Sunday-Molly completes project alone, other girls cant come help Monday-teacher gives extension to complete Thursday-girls gather at my office after school, working until 8ish. Molly puts cage/mouse in the car while we wait for the girls parents. When she opens car door to get in, the mouse is sitting on car seat--ON the seat--not IN the cage!!!!!! Mouse had some trouble with the maze but none escaping her cage! Aargh! (Mom can only think about it escaping in my car/house--NO THANKS!!) While I go in Walgreens to pick up mouse photos, Molly waits in the car and tries to keep the mouse from escaping. When I get back, shes almost in tears because the mouse wont stay in the cage and bit her when she tried to keep it inside. She declares she wants to return the mouse and doesnt feel bad. Well, very bad. :( Momma throws the car in drive and makes it to the pet store at 8:59.59!! She is out of the car before I turn it off!! Long story even longer: no more mouse and I didnt have to be the bad guy!!!! Win-win!!
