Upper trough is pushing into Texas and getting closer to Louisiana this morning, now triggering showers and a few t-storms. More rainfall to our west, which will be moving in through the day. At times a heavy shower is possible, but mainly scattered showers through the day. By this evening, the cold front will have moved through and with it a drop in temperatures and humidity. Most of the rain will be ending tonight and clearing skies overnight as the upper trough pushes east. Cool, dry air will settle into the region for the end of the week and weekend. By Saturday, and especially Sunday, temperatures will be on the rise, however dew points will remain low. Follow me on Twitter: @CFranklinFOX8
