Uttoxeter Leisure Centre Redevelopment Weekly Update: Work has - TopicsExpress

Uttoxeter Leisure Centre Redevelopment Weekly Update: Work has progressed well this week on the various continuing aspects of the centre development and the anticipation is really starting to build for this fantastic new facility. Labour continues on the external parts of the centre to make the building weather tight, with further block work and roof edge work moving forward. This will conclude with the installation of the glazed units in November. Internally wall tiling has now begun and along with plastering is starting to give the place its finished look. Service installation also continues, along with work beginning to merge the new building with the sports hall. Included in the images this week are some hypothetical representations of what the new changing room areas could look like, with tile finishes and colours all similar to those below. Exciting stuff! Site Manager Steve had the following update: It was good to see progress made this week with the continuing external aspects of the new centre, which is helping to take the facility to a stage of being weather tight. Internally we have made a great start on the tiling in the changing room areas, and we continue with plastering and service installation. Over the next few weeks we will see this continue, and we will also see the spectator seating start to form. In addition we are expecting the pool drainage channel blocks to be delivered, which will then be installed. The project continues to run to plan and we look forward to bringing you further updates and pictures next week. Check out the latest pictures of the development.
