VACANCY – Junior Pastry Chef/Chef Ballast & Capel are pleased to be working with an iconic British Virgin Island resort development, renowned internationally for providing exclusive guest services and fine cuisine. On their behalf we are recruiting a Junior Chef/Pastry Chef to join their team and assist in developing their dessert repertoire. This role is ideal for a professional Junior chef with a flair for desserts or pastry chef who is looking to broaden their scope of work by also assisting with entrée and mains. Successful candidates will ideally have experience in making cakes, pastries, ice cream and chocolates as well as supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management including menu planning, ordering, inventory and budget planning.
