.....VIGOROUS TROPICAL WAVE...... 1. A Very Strong Tropical Wave with a surface Low Pressure of 1008MB, is currently located 9.0N 40.8W OR 1400 miles east, southeast of the Windward Islands continues to show signs of organization. The winds in this system has been sustained at 35 mph, nearing Tropical Storm force, but the lack of a closed surface wind circulation has diminish the chance of a Tropical Cyclone forming. However, the National Hurricane Center has said that environmental conditions are expected to become much more favorable for development of this system during the next few days. Saharan Air Layer is in the northern axis of the Wave, except in the Low Pressure at 9N. Despite the Dry Air of the African Desert, the system is expected to move away from that dry air and move into more humid air in the Caribbean Sea. This system has a medium chance, 40%, of becoming a Tropical Cyclone during the next 2 days or so. WE ARE MONITORING THIS SYSTEM MUCH MORE CLOSELY. KEEP CLOSE WITH THE WEATHER NETWORK. Elsewhere: A Trough of Low pressure is not expected to develop due to unfavorable winds aloft. This system has a low chance, near 0%, of becoming A Tropical Cyclone during the next 48 hours. Despite that, heavy rain and locally Gusty winds will impact portions of Louisiana and Texas. THERE ARE NO MORE AREAS OF CONCERN. KEEP WITH US FOR CONTINUED INFORMATION ON THE TROPICAL DISTURBANCE.
