VOYS4E11 - Concerning Flight: while Janeway is in her DaVinci program Voyager falls under attack. Several small raiders attack Voyager. They are using some sort of beam technology to steal components. Among them were the main computer processor and the doctors mobile emitter. It took 10 days but theyve located their stolen technology on a planet. Tuvok detects a Starfleet signal coming towards them. It is DaVinci using the mobile emitter. He believes to be in America and is working for a Prince. Chakotay gets a lead on Voyagers main CPU. Janeway approaches the alien who stole Voyagers items pretending to be in need of a computer for a colony. He demonstrates Voyagers main computer core. All he wants for it is a warship. The doctor is getting cabin fever being stuck in sick bay. Tuvok takes DaVincis drawings of maps to Astrometrics and they locate the main core. Unfortunately the thief overheard Janeway communicating with Voyager. DaVinci knocks the thief unconscious. He takes her to the warehouse where Voyagers main computer core is located. Janeway locates the main computer and initiates an overload so that it can be detected by Voyagers sensors so that it can be beamed back. They got it. The thief shows up and fires at them. DaVinci is confused for he was shot with a beam but not injured. Janeway renders the thief unconscious then uses the site-to-site transporter to escape the surrounded building. Several ships approach Voyager to prevent them from obtaining a lower orbit to retrieve Janeway and DaVinci. They reach a prepuce where DaVinci has rebuilt his glider. Voyager is still too far away for transporter. The thief and his men approach. They launch. Voyager gets close enough to beam them in cargo bay 2. DaVinci tells Janeway just wanted to fly his whole life. His prior inability to do so has also led him to fly from one project to another leaving them incomplete. Now that he has flown theres no telling what he can accomplish
