Variety and it’s nuances- assortment, diversity, change, variations, array, multiplicity, range, mixture- all beautiful sounding words, except the fact that we have allowed the beauty of the words to infringe on where it really should not have…RELATIONSHIPS! What we’ve done, for the sake of being cool and for bragging rights amongst our peers, has allowed variety into a place where monogamy was the default design, so we’ve ended up re-designing, re-conforming and re-aligning RELATIONSHIPS to accommodate the nuances of variety and so created a comfort zone leaning more towards ‘options’ rather than ‘sanctions’ and now these same beautiful sounding nuances have become nuisances…≈KDL®™©2013
