Very nice turnout for Darlenes spaghetti supper; along side the spaghetti, she served rolled stuffed chicken with roasted potatoes and carrots with spices that looked yummy. Of coarse I opted for the spaghetti, but the chicken was a big hit....thank you Darlene for the awesome meal. Vicky is always there to assist Darlene where ever she is needed, she mingled with the crowd, made sure everyone had what they needed, helped with serving and cleanup, and if your food was ready and you were not.....she would hunt you down. And Gene earned the rank of dishwasher again, and a fine job he did keeping up with those... and lining up all the golfers. We had a full field last night for Night Golf, the cold weather did not keep most of us away. We had 9 teams of 4 however, after 5 holes one team quit and went home cause they got too cold. Dressing warm was a big factor for last night as the temperatures dropped down into the 30s. Chuck Libby donated hand warmers which helped immensely, thank you Chuck. The night was black and visibility was zero except for the colored night balls in the air or on the ground and the glow sticks to show us where the flag was on the green. A flashlight was necessary for moving our carts from point A to point B or letting others know you were in their flight path. The flight of red, green, blue and white golf balls filled the air like meteors...laughter could be heard all over the coarse telling us that folks were having a good time and Fore was heard often...just because no one could see. It was a fun night. My husband Michael was talked into playing this time, it was the first time he played and he told me later that he would definitely play again. There were a few first timers who said they would play again. As David often says....Woo! So I have 3 teams of winners to post. 1st - was Wayne Clukey, David Clukey, Ian Morrill and Jim McCabe with a score of 34. 2nd - was Chuck Libby, Bobbie Bradford, Scott Coy (not present for a picture) and Brandon Gliddon with a score of 38. 3rd - (who actually tied 2nd but lost on the handicap Hole #8) was Dave Garland, Michael Wasilewski, Perry McKusick and Wayne Chase with a score of 38. Thank you all for a fun night!!
