Violence thru our indifference to the needless suffering of animals cannot enable my own psyche to share the love that Jesus spoke of and taught us. I think that if we profess to be followers of Jesus that we should think long and hard about incurring and enabling violence. There is no way of killing something ,man or animal, that is not violent. I grew up in Georgia and hunted and fished. I was raised in a farm setting most of my life and have killed animals for "food". People use the word humane like that makes the one being killed alright with it. I pray to God that more people open their eyes to see the truth about the damage that is being done to us as humans thru the damage and hurt that we inflict on all of these special creatures
