Visiting an old bathing place -Siyom River (a tributary of Brahmaputra), at the back of parental home in PI Colony, Aalo in West Siang of Arunachal Pradesh. When we were small, we were told that this water flows down from Nyimek (Tibet). And around this period of year, water level was quite good, it was bone piercing chilly and was very clean. Lot of characteristic has changed--its more polluted so obviously lot more warmer, water level has decreased. It made me think: With global warming, snow/ glacier melting, this river should have greater flow of water but where has all the water gone?
