Volvo Down! The C-304 is offline, Stromberg carb float plugs have finally given up after 40 years of reliable service. Two new ones with new o-rings are on order from obsoleteauto/ , Im adding a link to them in case any of my fellow C3 series owners have this issue. (Gasoline leaking out the bottom of the carbs - the nitrile O-rings harden up and let gas flow by). First symptom was extremely long crank times each time I started the engine, due to the fact the carbs were bone dry due to leaking, and had to be refilled by the pump each time. Second symptom were smells of gasoline in the cab. Only really noticed it when we had the engine cover off after replacing the spark plugs.

Hope to ride my 25 mile ride to day. It should be a good one.
