WARNING: Not politically correct. Heavy heart today thinking about Christians being martyred in Iraq. If faced with the ultimatum, deny Christ or get your head chopped off, what would you do? Deny Christ right now or watch your whole family get slaughtered before your head joins theirs on spikes. There is no Americanized, wishy-washy christianese saying to answer this. We are so spoiled in this country- were scared to mention Jesus because we want people to like us. Were scared to admit that we believe the whole Bible is the inspired Word of God so we can avoid being called narrowminded, bigots, politically incorrect. Were over hear preparing our next politically correct sermon, while overseas Christians are being MASSACRED for their faith in Jesus. Jesus didnt call us to be his passive, live-like-everyone-else, dont-offend-anyone followers. I am feeling very convicted and challenged today. Jesus is who I live for, who I answer to, whos love & truth I should be spreading daily- BECAUSE there is a real heaven and a real hell. A real Satan and a real Savior. And real people that need to be saved. How easily we forget.... So given the ultimatum, what would you do? I hope I would say To live is Christ, to die is gain.
