WARNING. To all my FB Family and Friends Are you thinking of Buying Selling or Renting a house soon. Read on and save yourself a whole lot of stress. We rented our house out using Joanna Daly Properties as out agency as we moved 80 miles away. Trusting that it would be managed in a professional manner and procedure that are put in place to ensure that the tenant respect the property. First Joanna Daly least our house to unreliable tenants 2 of whom did moonlight flitting. So much for vetting them first. Then Joanna Daly least the house out to a couple and who wreck the house. It is inconceivable that Joanna Daly would give a tenant their deposit back when they leave the house in such a mess. Some doors were removed by the tenant and just left lying around the house. There has been shelving removed from the kitchen There are marks all over the walls The fridge is dirty and the freezer needs defrosted And the place was left generally dirty The tenant had been move out for 6weeks and there still isnt a for Sale sign up to catch passing trade despite repeated requests Joanna Daly sent us a bill the day after the tenant moved out for a plumber to repair a leak which was, lets face it probable caused by the tenant or the would have had it repaired before now, and a cleaner, which to my mind is atrocious. We thought the Cleaner was for a deep clean of the whole house which we didn’t mind paying. We has since be told by Joanna Daly that the Cleaners were hire to clean floors and carpet because they were covered in dog hairs, responsibility of the tenant you would have thought. For Joanna Daly not to advise us on the appalling condition of the house and to merit it in viewing condition astounds me. To have paid a management fee for years and to be treated in such a disrespectful manner is extremely disappointing to say the least. So feel free to share this with all your FB family and friends to prevent them having such an awful experience
