WDCB Listener-Supported Jazz & Blues 18 mins · Chicago music legends The Paul Butterfield Blues Band are going to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. The announcement of the latest round of inductees came just a few weeks ago. On tonights Blues Edition program, Dan Bindert will feature a big set of classic 60s Butterfield, a pair from fellow 2015 inductee Stevie Ray Vaughan, and a mega-set from the 5 Royales, the unsung r&b pioneers being rightfully inducted in the early influence category in 2015. Tune in Saturday night, beginning at 7pm, as the last edition of Blues Edition kicks off our 10-hour weekly blues bash on 90.9FM, WDCB.org and CAN TV42. Tom Marker will host our new Saturday night lead off show, Blues Time beginning January 3rd...In the meantime, heres the late Paul Butterfield (with a young David Sanborn in the horn section) blowing the house down at Woodstock in 1969.
