Truly, all power belongs to God. My Campaign which started officially September 2013 became a fruitful effort by HIS grace on the 18th December,2014 after the Democratic Process earned me a mandate to serve the entire students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta. I appreciate Almighty God once again for He has been so Glorious in my life. Thank you God for you did not stop talking to me when I needed to hear from you. YOU WON. My Appreciation is directed to my Parents, Sup.Evang. D.O Akande and MIC A.M Akande, my dearest sister (Altar) for their unflinching support during the course of my campaign. YOU WON. I say a big thank you to all the entire students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, for standing by me through out my campaign period and also on the GLORIOUS day, thank you all for supporting me on campus and online. YOU WON. I will be ungrateful if I fail to give kudos and 3gbosa to all the GLORIOUS ambassadors who left their various homes without collecting a dime(Lagos, Ibadan, Ijebu, Shagamu, Siwes Centers) to Vote for GLORIOUS. You did not only cast a GLORIOUS Vote , you also believed in me and also voted-in the entire GLORIOUS Team. YOU WON. I congratulate the Elders, Stakeholders, Excos and Members of the best Forum ( Reformation) in Mapoly, a forum that builds Intellectual Gladiators for better future, for the advice, prayers and moral support. Here, I would say Rf, Engnr, Yewa-ist, Adekunle Adeniyi (Production Manager) YOU WON. I say a more big Thank you to everyone who ensured the Election was held on Thursday, 18th December 2014 after several attempt by some individual and groups who adopted different strategies to present a caretaker committee (a toothless union)to the entire Mapaites. Thanks for showing to them that we have power as a people. YOU WON. Mapoly is our Institution, we all have a stake and we must all strive to make positive history. 19 of us went for the election knowing fully well that only 10 of us would emerge and this is based on the decision of the students. I use this medium to humbly charge everyone who didnt scale through on the 18th December 2014, to imbibe the spirit of sportmanship and come together to realize a better Mapoly where Favoritism, Nepotism, Injustice will be sent packing. I recall this popular slang that we do say to ourselves which goes thus ORI LOMO. I can assure that in this administration like I have said, I shall run and all-inclusive Government regardless of political affliation nor Department. A DECENT, GLORIOUS Mapoly matters to us all. In this Administration,Silence will always be a crime. Join me as I combat the oppressors. Freedom cometh by struggle and not by imagination. Now, I can say we are GLORIOUS.
