By all accounts these men had ascended to the upper reaches of success.They had discovered the secrets of making money. As they left the hotel that day,life took them in different directions. Twenty five years later, - The president of the largest steel company, Charles Schwab, died bankrupt, having lived on borrowed money for the last five years before his death. -The president of the largest gas company ,Howard Hopson, became insane. -The greatest weat speculator, Arthur Cotton, died abroad,insovent. -The president of the new-york stock exchange, Richard Witney, went to sing-sing penitentiary. -The member of the presidents cabinet was pardoned from prison so that he could die at home. - The greatest bear on wall street, Jesse Livermore, died of a suicide . -The head of the worlds greatest monopoly ,Ivar Krueger,died of a suicide too. -Leon freser, the president of the bank of international settlements also died of suicide.
