WHAT IS LIFE? It is my experience that many whom I asked the question could not answer it .That lead me to prepare the Life Spiritual Table consisting of the following verses in the Bible. 1. To live is Christ (Philippians 1:21) 2. God is your (my)life .(Deut 30:21) 3. Jesus is life and in Him is life (John 14:6,1:4) 4. He has the Son (Jesus Christ) has life ,he who has not the Son of God has no Life( I John 5:12). 5. This is life eternal that they may know … the only true God and Jesus Christ ..(John17:3) The Bible is given that all may have Life. (John 20:31). In the Gospel of John there are 21 Chapters and every chapter gives one aspect of life including the definition of Life (John 17:3). (See the pictures posted). What God is communicating through the writings of His beloved disciple John is All Truth = the only True God the Father= God the Son = God the Holy Spirit= Life=Light =Love = Glory Jesus said to some that they had a name that they are living but dead (Rev 3:3). So let us be careful that Jesus will not say the same to us by living according to the above definition. The first lesson Jesus taught His disciples is about Life .Before giving the definition of Life He taught His disciples what life is not .He taught Life is not 1. Food(Is not life more than food .Mat6:25) 2. Fashion(Is not your body more than your clothes .Mathew 6:25) 3. Fabulous things which we crave for and spend all our life to acquire them.(Man’s life does not consist in the abundance of things he possess.(Luke 12:15) The Bible is called book of life or the word of life (Ph 2:16) If Bible is wrong, I don’t lose anything, but if it is true all those who do not believe it loose terribly.
