WHAT IS TRUTH? A Dear Friend posted that she had just found out that one of her sources was not always truthful,. So I was therefore forced to post this. No source on its own can be trusted. Every story, Supposed fact, Hypothesis, or even a Conjecture most be referenced, cross referenced, validated, then cross validated, finally exposed to peer review. At a certain point you reach a level of confidence, then you can publish.-- Del Steinacker Confidence level is a statistical measure of the percentage of test results that can be expected to be within a specified range. For example, a confidence level of 95 percent means that the result of an action will probably meet expectations 95 percent of the time. -- CERN At this level a Noble Prize was handed for the finding of the Higgs Boson. Though I still do not believe the theory is correct, after $13 billion spent (Forbes) I feel that at a little over 95% Level of confidence I must for now consider it to be heading in the right direction. Cute example; I posted a political ragg, My very loved, and in actuality real scientific minded Aunt called me out with one nasty word. What she didnt realize was that before posting I researched all 34 items in the post and was able to authenticate, and legalize 33 of the items listed. That gave me a 97.0588% level of confidence, so I posted it. Though she still ragged me. What is truth? I dont really know, I can tell you this.
