WHO IS DUPING KENYANS THAT VIOLENCE SHALL ERUPT? Personally, I am proudly of LUHYA origin but living in a small town called KIKUYU, a town that is deeply tucked at the heart of KIKUYULAND, KIAMBU COUNTY. Here, I see the spirit of brotherhood irrespective of our DISTINCT ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS, CULTURAL DIVERSITY and PERMANENTLY DIVORCED POLITICAL VIEWS. Since politics is firmly attached to my body, spirit and soul, I have never ceased to advance my political analysis regarding the falters as deliberately and arrogantly advanced by UHURUTOS regime such as; NEPOTISM, CORRUPTION, IMPUNITY, AUTOCRACY, MEDIOCRITY, which undoubtedly amounts to ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE, in our daily evening barazas which are normally held under a certain big tree known as MUGUMO in the native Kikuyu Lingual. We always argue our points out, though some will always uphold subjectivity, until the sun naturally elects to create space for the dark, before walking back to our miserable rented houses. We strategically await the dark to set in for us to sneak back without the chance of bumping into our landlords (personally, I have shamelessly accumulated rent deficits amounting to Ksh. 42,000 since the year begun). Many are times I have encountered very sweet dreams about my political Darling Raila having brought plenty of food on my table. A couple of days ago, I dreamt that Ababu Namwamba, who happens to be among my favourite Luhya politicians, bought me a very big mansion in one of the leafy suburbs of Nairobi. Surprisingly, this is not a sole experience. In his confession, my Kikuyu buddy Mr. Macharia confessed to be a victim of similar occurrences, though the subjects in his dreams are always Uhuru and Kibaki. He also owned up to the fact that his nightmares are characterized by images of Raila, Wetangula and Kilonzo at times. I must confess that its always a painful disheartening experience when I have to wake up only to realize that they were just but dreams. Dreams that will never come true unless I take up personal responsibility to construct my own fortune. Ofcos the government ought to observe absolute diligence and safeguard the dictates enshrined in our constitution to create a levelled playing field for my friends Macharia, Mwanzia, Otieno, Mogambi, Chelegat, Okoit, Wafula, Kiptoo, Olechelat, Nzili... and I, to enable us to peacefully execute our different talents and abilities to adequately attain our aspirations. What shocks me most is the recent practical experience, where I have witnessed those filthy, uncomfortable buses which are always manned by unruly personel at the Machakos Bus Park (dont ask how I know much about them. I have and still is a victim who continues to use them until Raila or Wetangula or Kalonzo gets me a cool ride like those ones their children and relatives ride in-Its only but a dream) make abnormal profits since the beginning of this week, from the gullible citizens who are busy ferrying their kins back to their native backgrounds with the thought or belief that violence shall characterize the so said saba saba Hullabaloo. I want to tell such people that they indeed put a big smile on the face of the war mongers who happen to be our leaders. I dont think Kenyans are ready to engage in any kind of violence which shall end up causing deaths, bodily harm, psychological deformity, loss of hard earned property, for the sake of our politicians vested interests. Therefore, I appeal to all citizens in every corridor of this great Nation to uphold the spirit of peaceful coexistence, brotherly love and absolute tolerance before, during and after Saba Saba. Let us have it in our minds that a disintegrated people births a very conducive atmosphere for the rogue politicians to loot our resources and advance their selfish interests at our expense. I strongly urge President Uhuru to shove aside his vested interests, those of his bigots and address the grave issues that are steadily steering this great Nation to that hollow dark den, for this Nation is greater than himself, his family, his sycomphants, his community, his friend Ruto or anything else. It is a nation that belongs to 42 tribes who ought to enjoy the National cake equitably. Finally, I urge fellow citizens to constructively and peacefully keep the government in checks for adequate performance irrespective of our ethnic backgrounds, cultural diversity and political affiliations. ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, EQUAL RIGHTS TO ALL!!!
