WHY SO MANY DO NOT UNDERSTAND GODS GRACE? …. The wages of sin is eternal death; not eternal life – (Ezekiel 18:4, 20; Romans 6:23). Therefore, Gods grace will not save an unrepentant sinner to the kingdom – (Acts 2:37-38; 2 Peter 3:9). Because of Gods love through Jesus Christs death to save us, faith in Christs merits will lead us to repentance from law breaking; then salvation could be assured – (Ephesians 2:8; James 2;17-24). Even though we are not saved by the law nor by faith nor by repentance, however, we will not be saved by Gods grace while we desire to continue in sin and crucify Christ afresh with an unrepentant spirit – (Hebrews 6:6). Romans 2:13 says - “For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the DOERS of the law shall be justified.” Romans 3:31 says - “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid; yea, we establish the law.” Since “sin is the transgression of the law” (1 John 3:4), thus no unrepentant sinner will be taken to heaven – (Mark 1:15; Luke 15:7, 10). Those who profess faith in Christ, yet willfully continue to break Gods law, they will not be saved at all – (Hebrews 10:26). No more sacrifice is worthy to cover for their unrepentant sins – (Proverbs 28:13; Ezekiel 18:21). Revelation 22:14 says - “Blessed are they that DO His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” - (Revelation 22:14).
