WHY THE NEGROS IN FERGUSON(and towns like them)ARE TO BLAME! To my point about the lack of consciousness of black folk in Ferguson..(and communities like it)in terms of the power that they hold..and why being apathetic on local politics(especially when racism is an issue) is just plain ole dumb... As of 2010..these were the demographics.. There were 21,203 people, 8,192 households, and 5,500 families residing in the city. The racial makeup of the city was 67.4% African American, 29.3% White, 0.5% Asian, 0.4% Native American, 0.4% from other races, and 2.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were... 1.2% of the population. If you will...for one moment...look at the real population numbers and racial breakdown... 67.4% AA...29.3% White... Now if you will...The offices in which a voter can elect.. Mayor City Council Prosecuting attorney..ect.. Robert P. McCulloch is the current Prosecuting Attorney for St Louis county..I want you to follow me...The Prosecutor who just basically played defense attorney for Officer Wilson..is an elected official. I just got off the phone wit my boy Frank..(A criminal defense attorney) He called a no indictment 2 months ago. His rationale was ..that prosecutor is an elected office beholden to the people who elected him. Any decision he makes will be made with the political reality in mind.Meaning if he does not uphold the status quo(that the white voter elected him to uphold) ..then he will lose his position. Not to mention that the police force also serves as a voter block hes beholden to.So think political reality..If he were to file charges against a member of a voter block who put him in power...what would be the political fallout? These are things the rank and file person needs to understand. When you..or your group is a non participant..(in a democracy) the person elected will serve the will of the groups who empowered them. Thats what they are there to do. Bob McCulloch was never going to prosecute..because to do so..would have been political suicide.Hes not going to take for for the team especially when the black voter is apathetic and not in a position to re-elect him. He had no choice to not indict..none whatsoever. He again, is an elected official..and he knows who votes and dont vote. Why negros expect for whites to be paternal..self sacrificing..and altruistic...baffles me.Its not how politics works...and its damn sure not how the world works! How can this happen In a town with a 67.4% African american population...and you get all white public officials...(When whites only make up roughly 29%) My only conclusion is that the negro there has no real desire to be empowered..and is comfortable being preoccupied with nonsense..only willing to act out when pushed to the very limits of his/her comfort zone. According to the Grio(Ill post the article below) Black consumer spending is 1.1 trillion dollars. So.rather than negros looking for retail therapy and indulging in the foolish trappings of ratchet lifestyles... it would be some much more of an esteem builder to actually take a portion of those dollars..and use them to control the politics and resources in their own communities..I mean..it sounds like common sense to me.. If those folk would have just voted and engaged in their town..perhaps they would have elected officials who are beholden to them..and when a situation like this arises...everything is in place to assure justice. Lastly..Rialto..and Hawthorne..Both elected Black mayors..Guess what those mayors did(because they are beholden to their voters)..they put measures forth to make all officers wear cams to record interactions with the public..In the case of Rialto..Police brutality and use of force by officers were cut dramatically!Just food for thought. Im not talking out my ass here. The solution is simple..Get aware..get active..use a lil of that money you use to give to the pastor every Sunday..and give it to someone who will represent your interest in government. But that sounds too much like right!
